Yves Yearwood - Life Drawing

Yves YearwoodYves Yearwood is an Architectural Interior Designer by profession.

He was born in Trinidad and Tobago, resettled in Jamaica and eventually immigrated to London during the 1970s.   

Yves completed his Art foundation at the renowned Camberwell School of Art and Crafts, London, gaining a firm grounding in the disciplines of drawing and painting.  He went on to specialize in the field of architectural interior design at the Middlesex University, London, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors.

He began his relationship with the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in 1999.

He currently teaches courses in 3-dimensional design and drawing with an emphasis on the figure.

His teaching method integrates his knowledge of drawing and design with a relentless work ethic in the pursuit of substance and vision.

In 2009, he was invited as an Adjunct Assistant Professor to teach a drawing course at the University of Florida, School of Architecture in Gainesville.

Yves continues to practice architectural interior design.  His explorative work extends through practice to his students.
